TOMORROW IS YOURS

TOMORROW IS YOURS is a site-specific interpretation situated on Anfu Road in Shanghai, where Chapter 6 Gallery is located. The work is made from Napoléon Black marble, a stone quarried in the Pyrenees region of France. The artist installs this marble slab as a manhole cover embedded into the pavement in front of the gallery entrance. Engraved on the surface of the work is the phrase TOMORROW IS YOURS, a slogan used by Salomon, a fashion brand of French origin with a storefront on Anfu Road.
