TOMORROW IS YOURS, 2026

Tomorrow Is Yours is a site-specific work on Anfu Road in Shanghai, a street in the former French Concession once named Route Dupleix, where Chapter 6 Gallery is located. The work is made from Napoléon Black marble, a stone quarried in the Pyrenees region of France. The artist installs this marble slab, inscribed with the words Tomorrow Is Yours, as a manhole cover embedded into the pavement in front of the gallery entrance, replacing the original.
