TOMORROW IS YOURS is a site-specific interpretation situated on Anfu Road in Shanghai, where Chapter 6 Gallery is located. The work is made from Napoléon Black marble, a stone quarried in the Pyrenees region of France. The artist installs this marble slab as a manhole cover embedded into the pavement in front of the gallery entrance.

Engraved on the surface of the work is the phrase TOMORROW IS YOURS, a slogan used by Salomon, a fashion brand of French origin with a storefront on Anfu Road. On the reverse side, the names ANFU ROAD and ROUTE DUPLEIX are inscribed, referencing the street’s present name and its historical name during the French Concession period.
