In this three-channel video installation, the artist engages with the history of exile experienced by leftist communities from Singapore and Malaysia in China. Drawing upon documentary archives alongside footage captured during revisits to historical sites, the work constructs a multilayered visual narrative that traverses past and present. Through the archival material and contemporary imagery, the work examines the shifting relationships between power, reality, and collective memory.
